Eligibility Criteria for MOFCOM Scholarship 2024
- To apply for the MOFCOM Scholarship, you must be from a developing country (not China) and be under 45 years old. You also need to be healthy both physically and mentally.
- For Master’s programs, you should have a bachelor’s degree. For PhD programs, you should have a master’s degree.
- You also need at least three years of work experience. And your English skills should be at least as good as IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL 80.
Application Process for the Scholarship
- How to Apply: To apply, submit your application to the Economic and Commercial Counselor’s Office (ECCO) of the Chinese Embassy in your country.
- Documents Required: You’ll need to provide a completed MOFCOM Scholarship Application Form, your highest graduation and academic transcripts, a Study Plan or Research Proposal, two recommendation letters, a photocopy of the Foreigner Physical Examination Form, an English proficiency certificate, a copy of a valid passport, and a certificate showing that you have no criminal record.
